NOT ME MONDAY!!

Inspired by MckMama and her MSC*

OK... so, last week I was sick... so sick -- I see clients on a daily basis and I sounded like a man when I spoke and that's all I do... is talk in my profession -- By Thursday I was exhausted and my mind just really wasn't where it needed to be and I would never yawn 3 times during a session and the client absolutely did not ask if I was boring her and I would never, ever explain to her that I should be home in bed because I'm so sick and 5 minutes 30 seconds later she did not bust out laughing and say "You weren't making a whole lot of sense, I wondered if you should be here today" -- Nope! Not Me!

I am making a Christmas present for Dan (a Shutterfly book of our house) and I had to take a picture of our kitchen completed... Well, I needed it right then, so I absolutely did not hide dirty dishes under the sink, because the dishwasher was not full of clean dishes and I did not pile everything all the junk that had made a home on our island and hide it oh so perfectly behind it and then I would never throw it all back up there... just. for. the. perfect. picture. -- Nope! Not Me! (and this, ladies, is why pictures are never what they seem)

It totally was not worth it, right? ;0)

I would never have a dream about an ex-boyfriend and then wake up, see Dan and thank God I made the right decision -- To add to that, I would absolutely not keep this dream from Dan because what's the point of putting it in my husband's head that I dream about ex's! Nope! Not Me! :)

When I first got married, I realized the freedom that I had to do whatever I wanted, when I wanted, how I wanted -- Dan has a friend, Jerry, that is a little over the top about football and likes liked to steal Dan away for a day or two every month to go to a game -- Last season we'd just been married, so I didn't like it so much... But this season... I would never look forward to a little alone time and I would absolutely, not ever, resent Jerry's son for playing football because it keeps Jerry from being able to go away, now -- And I would never be thankful that yesterday he called and asked him over for a whole day of football fun :) Nope! Not Me!

I would never drag out all of our Christmas stuff and lay it in various places around the house and then leave it there for a week and I definitely would not promise to put it all up while Dan was gone watching football and I certainly would never, instead, work on the computer (on his gift, so I feel a little better about it) all day and love doing it... Nope! Not Me!

I would never wish I had more time to write... but duty calls :) Nope! Not Me!

Have a fabulous Monday!!!

Nobody ever reads what I write on the internet right? So I can say that I have never done what you did with the dishes in order to take a picture of my house for my inlaws when we first moved in...nope not me!

I enjoy my time too! Time to do whatever I want--even if it's nothing--and especially watch whatever I want on tv--even if it's reality tv!
I think the photo book is an awesome idea!

I am keeping my dress a secret, but Grant doesn't even know about the blog and is a little computer illiterate, so he won't ever find out. Ha-Ha! :)

I too, after 17 years of marriage, DO NOT like when my husband goes off and does something leaving me to 'myself'--and I really DO NOT like when he takes our 2 girls--what would I do with quiet time to myself:)

And I would NEVER hide diry dishes..just remember never to hide plastic storage containers in the oven and forget to take them out before you preheat the oven!! It isn't pretty---or so I am told!!!!

I hope you are feeling better, you get your decorations up, and you have plenty of time to work on the book--I love that idea.

Have a great Monday,
Tammy

Once in awhile we all need some alone time to just unwind and think
about nothing.

I like your new profile picture. You look real pretty.

Too funny -- I have a bad habit of stashing dirty dishes in the oven when people come over ... and usually I forget about them until J goes to preheat the oven, smells something funny and loudly curses as he tries to move the hot dishes into the sink. Oops! :-)

"I would never have a dream about an ex-boyfriend and then wake up, see Dan and thank God I made the right decision" - I was just telling my husband exactly the same thing (about making the right decision with him!) It's funny to think back and wonder what the heck we were thinking sometimes!!

And I also "never" enjoy my alone time when my husband isn't around!!

Cute not me monday! Congratulations on the contest!

So your kitchen is adorable, and I would totally not have done the same thing. I mean, I don't take random things that are laying around when someone is coming over to my house and throw them in my dryer to 'get them out of the way'.

And on another note, I GOT MY HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY PACKAGE TODAY!!! Yippee!! Thank you SO much for all of my fun goodies, and thank you, also, for the Christmas card. I feel so lucky! Oh, thank you for all of your votes for my contest, too! We'll find out tomorrow if I won or not! :) God Bless!

Haha! I laughed when I read this, because I just took a picture of our Christmas tree... after moving all of the other junk from our living room into the dining room.

Thanks for adding me in your sidebar! That is all kinds of awesome!

I'm sorry I'm leaving a comment without reading your post...I'm on entry 1oo-and-something and my eyes are crossing...

Your so crafty, I never would have thought to just hide everything out of sight for the sake of a 10 sec pic. I would have been super frustrated and cleaned everything and gotten in a super bad mood all for a stinkin picture. I have so much to learn!

Kee Heee! The dishes under the sink...that's a great one!

The dream about your ex...I'm so happy you woke up and were glad you made the right decision. For some, it doesn't work out that way. Yay for you and your marriage!

For me...I am NOT spending more time than I have getting completely lost in blogland because I am NOT avoiding all of the things that I really should NOT be doing. I have no idea how I got to your blog, but so glad I stumbled upon it!
