Not Me Monday!!

We all have a little duty we preform every day (well, hopefully) -- Peeing and pooping -- Come to find out, this little pee and poop machine precious angle we have gallivanting around our home also preforms this little duty every freaking 30 minutes every day -- With this, she does not have any extra hair to catch her "drips" (if you know what I'm saying), so D and I keep a paper towels next to the outside door to wipe her when she comes in -- All this to say Saturday when she came in I discovered D moved them there we no paper towels -- I absolutely did not proceed to take. off. my. sock. and wipe her little behind -- This would not be because I'm majorly slightly OCD about pee drips all over everything and this would not be because I've gone slightly mental taking care of miss Elly Mae... Nope! Not Me!

So... I've been kidding myself doing Weight Watchers for the last 2 weeks -- Apparently you get an extra 35 points a week to blow and because I'd convinced myself I'd been good done so well, I did not eat an entire box of Mac and Cheese while D was gone to Gun School (yes, I said Gun School) -- Not me. No way. This would be ridiculous and there's no one in their sane mind that would eat an entire. box. of. anything. -- So, because I didn't do this, I don't feel disgusting at all and I'm totally free to share this on my blog -- Nope! Not Me!

Speaking of exercise (oh, we weren't speaking about that?) Well, now we are because it's like death to my soul it's such an important subject, I started working out 3 weeks ago -- D trains horses to race and so I figured he may know a few things about building up stamina and all that gross fun stuff -- He explained it something like this If you start out with a 5 minute warm up, 10 minute intense workout and then a 5 minute warm down, you won't get overwhelmed and quit in your first week -- This sounded reasonable enough... until I tried it -- So, I confess to each of you, I did not, no way in heaven have to go into warm down mode after 7 minutes -- No way. This does not mean that at the young age of 31 do I need some serious help. This also does not mean that I need some serious help (did I mention I need help?) Nope! Not Me!

OK... wish I had more fun stuff, but my week has been pretty boring!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!!! and don't forget to enter the ELLY MAY GIVEAWAY!

Too funny! I decided to get back in shape too. My husband is a Marine so he doesn't understand what it means to be out of shape. His wise advice is, "Carrie, just go for a 20 minute run and work up from there!" Serious? I can't even run for 10 minutes and I almost passed out in kickboxing class the other day! Working out = blah!

The joys of having a puppy! Almost like having a kid... without all the crying... I hope her potty training gets better.

Love the new look... very cute. I actually have a picture of my Nana wiping my dog's tush (who is in puppy heaven now) with a wipee, because she got "stuff" caught in her "potty path." Pretty funny. The things we do for those cute little furry creatures is ridiculous!

Your Not Me's made me laugh out loud. I too have the joys of being a puppy parent. The uppy puppy just pulled a whole roll of toilet paper around the house. Perhaps, he could help your pup.

Ha, Ha, Ha. I should not have been drinking tea while reading your blog. I spit it all over the place. The part about the sock...funny! I am doing weight watchers too. I have not added the exercise part yet. I am just trying to avoid eating everything in the pantry.

So I feel like you just wrote about me and my day! That is why you are so great at this Blogging. Shawn and I have a 5 month old puppy who has taken up eating socks and then they have to come out...one way or the other...and she hasn't turned the corner yet from accidents everywhere. I started a diet..and broke it the same day..and got a new exercise program and did it for 10 min. and was done. I think we all have the same struggles...we just need to keep trying!

I cut my dog's butt hair last night. Why? Because it was out of control and getting stuff stuck there. Eh the sock isn't too bad!

Hilarious! I've never felt the need to wipe after the dogs go out but I do wipe their paws from being out in the snow. They run around in the snow and on the ice that they did their business on...Gross.

I hear you with that working out business...20 minutes is a long time! My lazy booty gets tired out from wii fit, and those are like 2-3 minute activities. So sad.

Love your Not Me's and I'm so excited for the giveaway!

Totally funny about Elly Mae! My friend has little washable diapers she puts on her two "babies". They are tiny little dogs, like Elly Mae. I did NOT laugh at her for being OCD with hers.

thank god that i'm not the only young 30-ish woman with zero stamina or motivation to exercise.or that has attempted to consume a box of mac & cheese. i think those things are related somehow but i'm trying to remain in denial about that. we must be long lost sisters.
i was too busy to do a "not me! monday" but got to a wordless wednesday, which is a great idea and an give away in the middle of the week. i am coming up with all kinds of stuff for next monday..it's just been that kind of week! i can't wait to put it into words to entertain my part of the world..er, web.
