Oops

Are you ever late to work? Do you ever get annoyed with those ssssllloooowwww, people? Do you ever curse call them names and then hit your steering wheel? To top it all off, when you finally get the opportunity to get around them, to you look into their cars with your angry eyes and then zip in front of them to make a point?

Me either
. I wouldn't know anything about that... Oh, wait except this morning. Yeah. I did all those things. And I wanted to make fun of her hair but I restrained Then? I got stopped by a red light at the corner right before where I work, so she ended up being right behind me anyway. I thought it odd that when I turned, she turned, too {small town, remember? There isn't much down the road where I work}.

Fast forward one hour. Does anyone remember that I work at a Domestic Violence Agency as a counselor? Well... I just saw her. Yes. The same woman. Walk by my office with another counselor.

I'm such an idiot.

Oh wow. I've done something similar... Went crazy on a car, then noticed it was someone I knew. Now, I just restrain myself LOL

I yell and blow my horn on a daily basis. I wouldn't care if it were my mother driving the car in front of me...if she doesn't want to hear me call her a damn idiot she should drive right. But that's just me.

Oh my gosh...that sucks!
I think thats why I refrain from honking my horn (besides the fact that is sounds so wimpy).. I do call names. But they cant hear that...thank heavens!

I do that way too often! I try to remember that they are being safer or might be driving slower for a reason, but it can be frustrating!

As much as you get angry when driving (as I do on a daily basis) you have to be careful. I've come to the realization (after many years of road rage) that most people don't have malicious intent when driving. They're either just oblivious to other cars on the road (not that that's acceptable) or they're having a really shitty day! So, I just yell at them in my car and have stopped making rude gestures when passing them!

When you joined Google analytics, did you opt to share your data with Google? I'm making an account and want to make sure I put the right thing. I don't know much about it, but I've heard it's a good thing to join.

This was a great post. I have similar luck. I yell at someone in the grocery store parking lot and then I see them at the post office minutes later.

Road rage regarding people who can't drive is normal. So your reaction was fine. Maybe later you'll laugh about seeing that person again afterwards. Maybe not...

I actually know a guy who had a similar incident that involved more of a confrontation, and when he got to work, that person was the new head of their office. LOL. PRICELESS!

By the way, I have a little something for you over on my blog - go check it out!

i live in NYC and am used to a fast pace of life. As much as I welcome the tourist, sometimes, they irritates me when they just stand in the middle of the sidewalk blocking the street, taking pictures or walking so slow. And it always happen when you are in a hurry!

Guilty as charged on the road rage! That would be just my luck. I did something similar one morning and got to my parking garage and parked, only to have the guy I went ballistic on drive right by me in the garage. YIKES. I was beyond mortified!

ouch. that hurts.

I have had similar experiences with a customer..trying to get around them to get to my appointment, and it happened to be them. *sigh* what are you gonna do? I guess it's just God's way of reminding us to be patient and remember you never know who people are and what they are goint through, even if they are just in another car.

ooo i totally have a funny story...

So I was in Dallas for a friend's wedding. I was in the house party, and I had to rush to the reception with my friend (the other house party person) so we could show guests where to sit. Well this one guy cut me off (and I got stuck on the railroad tracks because of it), so I started honking, wavy my hands angrily, and probably cussed at the guy a few times(because I was on the railroad tracks and not moving). Then we both pulled up in front of the reception site and I felt like a jerk....I tried to explain my freak out, but the guys was still a total jerk out of the car as he was in...oops

That's unbelievable! You probably never imagined something like that ever happening to you. I just hope something positive came out of it all.

that sounds like something I would do!
One time, this lady was on my bumper in the parking garage...I had my window down and was like, "for the love! get off me!"
So then as traffic slowed down, I heard my name...from the on my bumper lady... "Oh hi ...."
I was chewing on my heels!

I saw your post on MckMama's page and wanted to come say hi.

I hate that when you do all the above and then you're *right next to them*. I always avert my eyes and act like I'm busy or looking for something. LMAO!
