Please Laugh with Me

Sometimes you just have to go back and laugh -- Polka Dots and Paisley posted this Friday and it totally inspired me... Now, I clearly did not look as beautiful as she, but that's not the point of this post -- The point is... I'm showing mine -- Show me yours! {and leave me a comment that you did!}

March or April 1994

I told you my hair was a million shades of blond since I was 14 y/o --
What can I say... Hindsight is better than foresight?
This was a "blind" date... doing a friend of ours from church 'a favor'
That should have told me it was going to bad...
He took me through "drive through" for dinner, his car was filthy,
played his music 20 decibels beyond humanly necessary
and wouldn't dance with me at the prom --
I ended up joining some friends I'd known from his school through cheer leading -- He got so angry, he left me there at prom and went home... awesome.

COME ON! I want to see yours!

Fun! Good for you for being so brave.

I did not go to my prom. Can you believe it? I don't even remember why---probably it wasn't cool or something stupid.

That is some dress. I don't think I've ever seen one like that before. ha, ha. I've actually had a prom and homecoming that I did as a favor too where I barely knew my date.

But I really need to dig up a scanner to accomplish posting these old pictures.

Thanks for posting yours!
