Our Home in Pictures: The Kitchen

Before we get to my kitchen tour... I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your incredibly kind words about my post about my dad -- He truly is my most favorite person and to be able to share that with such wonderful people means a lot -- Next time I'll warn you to grab your Kleenex boxes! :)

OK... On with it --

When we were originally picking out our cabinetry, I wanted a "Ginger" color wood -- I compromised and when they installed it, I was sad that we went with the lighter wood -- BUT! once Mr. Realife and my dad painted the kitchen, I felt somewhat better about it all...

Our kitchen and bathrooms originally had linoleum in them --
While this may work for some areas in your home,

it just didn't feel nice on our feet --

So... my dad came up and tiled all those areas for us!

We love it!!

This is our kitchen now!

Starting with clearly the most important :)

Yes... that is dust on top of this Griddle :)
