7 Random Facts About This Newlywed

I was tagged by Our Journey To Forever to share 7 random facts about myself. So... here I go:

1. I don't have a sense of smell
2. I'm a Domestic Violence /Sexual Assault Counselor
3. My dream is to be an author / public speaker -- I've wanted to write (and have been writing various things) since I was 12 y/o -- While I may be blogging here, I'm writing the full script in a book :) (coming soon!)
4. I love seeing other people succeed at what they're most passionate about -- I would be happy all day helping someone else become successful -- (guess they call the life coaching... I was born for it)
5. I've known my best friend since she was born -- we still talk every week -- (her mother held me in nursery)
6. I grew up listening to the Carpenter's -- My dad would play "Rainy Days on Monday's" when I was sad
7. I was a bully in school -- I know... I know... I wish I could back and apologize (and counsel) all those girls I was so mean to -- BUT -- the stats are correct... usually if you're a bully, it's because you were bullied yourself (won't go into that)

OK -- Well -- I'm not going to tag anyone, cause I barely had time to do this! GOTTA WORK!!!

Thanks for the tag Our Journey to Forever!

I could not imagine being that type of counselor. I really admire people with that type of strength.

I loved learning more about you through your fabulous facts..

Is your sense of taste affected due to your lack of smell?

I can't imagine you being a bully! But I get you.. I understand the psychology behind it. :)

AND... I can't wait to read your manuscript! :)

Wow what a tough job! You definitely turned the bullying around!

I envy your lack of sense of smell, I have the strongest sense of smell EVER and it leaves me with constant headaches and/or gagging!

CP -- I hope the only changes are lessons learned and lived for the better -- you rock ;0)

Mrs.N -- Thank you... you find that your strength comes from many sources, not just from within --

W -- No... You learn interesting things when there's something different about you -- Regardless of popular belief, your olfactory nerves are not connected to your sense of taste -- I always remind people what we all learned in Kindergarten... your taste buds are what taste... having a sense of smell only enhances your experience -- On the flip side, there are some things that don't actually have a taste, such as basil, cilantro and the like... you only THINK your tasting them because their aroma is so strong...

Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week :) (j/k)

MCU -- Yeah... not proud of it, but it sure does come in handy when you're a teacher and you KNOW what those little bitches are really doing in the corner (so I can stop them :) --- I can't wait for the manuscript to be written! Thank you!

TS -- Hmm... not sure which I'd want! Guess I don't have a choice :)
