Not sure how I attained that saying "Oh, Sookie", but whenever I realize something's wrong, it comes out.
Tuesday has FLOWN by and I haven't gotten the opportunity to do Tuesday Talk! I was going to talk about Agreeing to Disagree: Being OK with your spouses opposite opinions --
Hmm... Any thoughts??

As long as he agrees that my opinion is better life is good. ;-)
Seriously...the reason we work so well together can be contributed to 2 words I taught him:
Yes, dear.
Love the saying!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts, Anna, but I say that agreeing to disagree requires me to truly set in my mind/heart to accept the other for who they are and not keep a competitive "I know I'm right" internally. That means that I also must allow room for the benefits of their view.
I agree with Rhonda but couldn't have said it any better... you have to allow room to listen to their position.
I agree with Rhonda and Mrs. G --- but it is SO hard for me to allow myself to accept I am wrong and listen. I'm always inclined to stand firm! :(
But I'm trying to change!
I agree with Rhonda and Mrs. G. It is never easy swallowing your opinion, even if it is for the greater good. Sometimes I do it just to surprise him., a simple "yes, dear" works wonders!
But trust and respect go both ways and he offers the same "ok dear" to me as well.
Miss Kara
The funniest part about this is the fact that I read the Southern Vampire Series where the main character's name is Sookie... good books, by the way!
