Manager's Special

Anyone notice a difference on how long it takes to load my page? I've had so many people email and say they can't leave a comment or for that matter, even read my posts because the page won't load...

So what did I have to do? Step in as the manager of this blog and lighten its load -- No more music, less 2 slide shows and to my dismay... no more 'blogs I'm following' that reload when there's a new post -- Hang in there while I figure it all out --

On a funny note... Just a sneak peak into my weekend with the ALICE cast :) Oh... Not Me Monday is going to be a HOOT! I'll just say this to peak your interest:

Spelling Matters

This has to be quick seeing as I Mrs. More busy than any human should ever be... I just got this and it TOTALLY made this Manic Monday Much Merrier :)

If there was ever a word to make sure your child spells correctly, it just might be HORSE :)

A Giveaway, Weekend Wrap-Up and Monday Funnies

FIRST AND FOREMOST!!! I have a friend that in the musical who has one of these {see above} and I was like "I HAVE TO HAVE ONE!" -- To my surprise, this morning I found out that More Wine Please is doing her ONE YEAR GIVEAWAY and guess what the prize is?!?! This fabulous "MonogrammedMarketWine Tote" -- Isn't it FABULOUS!?! Of all the giveaways I've entered... I WANT THIS THE MOST!!!! -- PLEASE go enter and TELL HER I SENT YOU!!

Secondly -- Opening night was FABULOUS!!! It went so incredibly well and being the small town that it is, there were several of D's customers there who were REALLY surprised to see me! My sisters all came into town Sat and we had such a great time together doing girlie things like pedicures, drinking wine on our back porch and going to the beach -- LOVE THEM!!! More to come on the Musical...

She's classy, she's stylish, she's elegent, she's funny and I totally get her -- I don't always comment on her posts b/c I have yet to figure out how to follow somone when they don't have the "Follow Me" option, but when I do, I laugh out loud, find myself smiling b/c I can almost feel what she's describing or I almost believe I'm right there in her stories -- She is a total "Blog Love" -- She's Jeune Marie --

TRUE STORY

Jennifer and Jim kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond a doubtthat the bills weren't representative of their actual usage, and no matterhow they tried to conserve, the high bills continue. Although they could seenothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems; first thewater meter, then outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets,toilets, washer, ice maker, etc., all to no avail. One day Jim was sick and stayed home in bed, but kept hearing water runningdownstairs. He finally tore himself from his sick bed & went toinvestigate,and stumbled onto the cause of such high water bills.Apparently this was happening all day long when they were not at home.Knowing that few would believe him he taped a segment of the "problem" for posterity.

OK... I interupt this post to TOTALLY brag on myself tell you something fun... I'VE JUST BEEN SASSIFIED!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously... remember my BLOG LOVE two weeks ago? Featured Friday: Family Funnies and Gladys Hardy

If you hadn't guessed, this is my family (mom was taking the picture)
This picture makes me laugh every time for a few reasons:

• You'd think we lived in Michigan the way we're dressed -- This was taken in West Palm Beach, FL
• My sister, Sarah, looks like a Mrs. Conehead from that movie... um, yeah -- you know the one
• My brother, Matt, looks like he's going to punch someone for making him look like a stuffed potato
• My sister, Eva, has the ever pleasant smile of a child model
• I.... well, I don't know what I'm doing, but I was happy
  
• Clearly my brother, Mike is getting a kick out of it
  
• My dad looks like he may be praying silently to God that he survive the next 15 years until we're all out of the house :)

I just love that picture of my family and wanted to share :)
